We often return from a trip and hurry back to work running like maniacs in order to catch up on all the tasks we left behind and forget to say thanks to the people that made our experience memorable. We have not met, but I understand that you are the owner of Alki Tours and I wanted to be sure to say thanks to you and your staff for some amazing memories.

Three times I have traveled with Alki Tours; Greece in 2006, China in 2007 and we just returned today from the Egypt tour with the Petra extension. Each of the trips were filled with incredible experiences for myself and my father, and I wanted to take a moment to let you know how impressed we are with your company and the service you provide. We had the pleasure of traveling with Louis O’Conner on the trip to Greece and were thrilled to learn that he would also be guiding our tour to Egypt. As I’m sure you know, he is a gem. We are amazed at how he navigates such a large group from location to location, tends to all the travel details and still finds the time to attend to each individual’s needs. (Not to mention the vast amount of cultural and historical information he provides) Time and again Louis took the extra steps to ensure that all the little details were attended to so we would have a memorable trip. We heard the same story from other people on the tour and many thought is was the best guided tour they had experienced and planned to book future trips with Alki Tours. Most of these people had a significant amount of travel experience both on their own and with other tour companies which says a lot about Alki Tours and Louis O’Connor.

Last Saturday for the first time, but not the last!, our family of 4 went on the Snow bus trip to Leavenworth and it was a delight from beginning to end!! We all found Koty to be an excellent guide with many helpful tips about Leavenworth and always very pleasant too. Glen, our driver, was very professional and navigated the bus beautifully snowstorm and all! Together, they helped to make our day more then we had ever hoped for for our first trip to Leavenworth.

I have been out of town since returning from the cruise to Alaska and just haven’t had a minute to write but now that I have, I wanted to THANK YOU for a wonderful cruise and actually a wonderful conference package. I have heard so many great comments about Alki Tours. I couldn’t be more pleased. People from all over the nation were pleased with the personal touches that you, Louis and Ursula provided for them. As a conference chairman for a National Conference, I couldn’t be more pleased. You were all EXTRA-ordinary!!!! Thank you so much.

Peter and I would really like to be kept informed about your trip to Greece. That’s a place we have always wanted to visit and hope to go with you. Please let us know the planned dates, so we can make arrangements to join you.

Dear Claire,

Thank you for another grand trip, as always, it was way beyond our expectations and we think we do have some pretty high expectations. As you know this was our seventh tour with Alki Tours and we are already planning the next one.

The accommodations were just what we wanted and the tours were fabulous. As in every adventure there will be unforeseen bumps in the road but, our Tour Directors and local guides sure know hoe to smooth them out. From our perspective everything was like a duck swimming in a pond. Smoothly sailing across the water, but as you know, they are paddling like the dickens beneath the surface.

If we had to be critical of one thing we can come up with is that there are only 24 hours in each day. Would it be possible to arrange for a thirty six hour day? Thanks so much for all of your wonderful trips.

I cannot thank you enough for your help planning a perfect stay for our group. You did not miss anything from arranging Pan Am Hostesses to greet our group at the Museum of Flight, private candlelight wine tastings at the Chateau St. Michele, wonderful music and meals throughout.

The vintage cars were a big hit and I had the lime green stretch limo with four others in our group. Ursula and Cece were fantastic and helped every step of the way to make things go smoothly- including getting our room keys in advance with our schedule in the packets. Your services were very professional.

Thanks again for everything. You made our convention go perfectly. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful week. I will definitely use Alki Tours again.

Hello!

We can’t let the opportunity pass without letting you know how much we enjoyed our trip to China. This was our first tour and we would find it hard to improve on.

In particular our guide Kody put us all at ease immediately, was gracious in all situations, and paved the way through airport procedures and customs. He gave us great tips for shopping and all we needed to know to enjoy our sightseeing.
