Thanks for the E-mail on the Washington DC Tour

We returned Monday afternoon from the Cherry Blossom tour in Washington D.C. and have such wonderful memories of our days there. Tyson was our guide and took excellent care of the group. He was able to adapt the itinerary to the weather, amount of crowding and the condition of the group participants. He took care of so many details and smoothed the way so that we did not spend much time in lines or worrying about what to do. He accommodated requests from the participants and was respectful of limitations. All in all – a very satisfactory tour – met expectations and more! Bruce and Liz

I just wanted to let you know that whenever I listen to your program on Sunday mornings it feeds my travel fantasies. Even though I will never be able to go on any of those tours, your descriptions are so good it is almost like I was there. You may not realize the impact on poor people like myself and that it is so positive.

My wife and I recently completed our 3rd excursion with Alki Tours. Without question, Alki Tours gave us the most outstanding service we have ever experienced in all our years of touring. Other tour agencies we have dealt with in the past do not come close to the exceptional service provided by Alki Tours.
On all three of our Alki Tours, Tyson Verse has been our tour guide. We can not praise this man and his level of service enough. He is well-informed, never seems to tire, and goes beyond the normal duties of a tour guide. On our last tour, we had the great pleasure to be introduced to his new wife. It is truly a joy to interact with him. If Alki Tours gives out Gold Stars (in the form of a pay raise), we nominate Tyson. We will be requesting Tyson again and again on our future trips with Alki Tours.

I just wanted to give some feedback on a recent trip. On December 16th my wife and I traveled on an Alki Tours motor coach to Leavenworth. It was a wonderful experience. Elmer our coach driver was professional in his dress, communication and his driving. He made you feel very safe as he drove defensively and at speeds congruent with the weather conditions.
Our tour guild was Tyson. He did an amazing job in assuring everyone from 6 to 60 enjoyed the trip. It was his sense of humor, the little thinks like memorizing your name, playing different videos, giving clear directions and instruction to ensure the trip went smoothly, bladder management, along with many other little things making the trip a very positive experience.
